Fancy getting messy with some yarn? Well then, you’ve come to the right place!
We’ve been in love with the beautiful hand-dyed colours and fabulous yarn created by Lisa Harland of ‘For The Love Of Yarn‘ for some time now. A regular at yarn shows across the country, her stall always draws us in with her mind-blowing neons, amazing colour variegations and deep sumptuos shades – we may have bought a skein or two in our time!
With the successful opening of the showroom at the ‘For The Love Of Yarn’ studio, we’re excited to hear she’s now offering workshops at her studio in Glasgow.
Dyeing yarn is fast becoming a very popular hobby so Lisa has decided to share the tips and tricks that she’s learned over the last 7 years with the public! Each workshop will teach you the basics of yarn dyeing, and you will be supplied with all the materials you need to create a stunning skein of yarn (100g) which you will be able to take home and turn into a true one of a kind masterpiece!
FTLOY have kindly given us one ticket to their yarn dying workshop to give away to one lucky person! The workshop take place on Sunday August 4th at 12-4pm and is located at the FTLOY studio in East Kilbride, Glasgow.
