Remember the poppy- Free Poppy Pattern

This year marks the 100th year since the end of the First World War in 1918. On and around November 11th, wearing a poppy is a sign of remembrance and thanks, to honour those who have died in war.

Simply Crochet’s Lucy Croft has designed an extra-special poppy brooch to give as a gift or wear with pride and we’re sharing the pattern with you. Lucy’s elegant design, worked in rich red, has ruffled petals and a centre of glass beads.

For more information about the poppy campaign (and to find details on how to get involved or make a donation), see www.britishlegion.org.uk
