It’s already pretty established that here at Simply Crochet we love a yarn show, but we also love craft shows in general! They’re a great place to stock up on supplies, as well as learning about other crafts that you might be interested in.
The Craft4Crafters Show has been running some of the largest Craft and Textile shows in the South West for over 18 years and is back on Thursday 18th – Saturday 20th October at the Bath & West Showground.
The Craft4Crafters event features two exhibition halls and a balcony area, with over 130 of the finest craft suppliers. It’s also a great place to pick up a new skill with their extensive workshop programme, live demonstrations and Make & Takes. The event also hosts a wide range of groups and guilds – so it’s easy to find like-minded people and have a natter with the experts.
The second exhibition hall, which was first opened in 2017, is a dedicated space for Quilting and Textile crafts with over 75 quilts on display. This year they are also hosting the hugely popular ‘Briswool’, a three-dimensional woollen model of Bristol which took more than three years to create and is not something to be missed! You will able to see reproductions of city landmarks including Clifton Suspension Bridge, St Mary Redcliffe and SS Great Britain. Crocheted and knitted by more than 250 volunteers, the display alone has attracted 1000s when last shown at the Bristol M Shed.
