The Comic Relief Red Nose Day is back on Friday 24 March 2107, and we’re helping raise funds with the 2017 Big Comic Relief Crafternoon. The special magazine from Mollie Makes is now on sale, packed with fun ideas and tutorials from the UK’s top crafters. So you can host your own fundraising craft session, and help Comic Relief raise millions – the last Crafternoon magazine in 2015 raised over £62000!
Projects inside include a crochet scarf pattern by Lucy of Attic24 (above), and crochet birds by Claire Trowbridge (below). There’s also a TOFT crochet animal from Kerry Lord, and if you fancy using up yarn oddments you can make a pom pom beard designed by graffiti knitter Lauren O’Farrell. There’s also a sewing project from winner of the Great British Sewing Bee Charlotte Newland, and brush lettering from Rachel Basinger of Oh No Rachio, plus jewellery, cross stitch, paper flowers, felt dachshund puppies and origami rabbits.
Get your copy of the Big Comic Relief Crafternoon magazine from Sainsbury’s, or online here for £8.99. £5 from the sale of every copy goes to Comic Relief.
