Tension

To make this amigurumi isn’t necessary to use the recommended yarn and crochet hook. Using a larger crochet hook, and a suitable yarn, the amigurumi will be larger preserving the same proportions.

Measurements

Working with a 3 mm crochet hook and cotton yarn the finished amigurumi will be  5cm (approx 2 in)

Abbreviations (UK terms)

–  ch: chain

–  ss: slip stitch

–  dc: double crochet

–  dc2tog: double crochet decrease

–  tr: treble crochet

Pattern notes

The pattern is worked using the amigurumi method. Work in a continuous spiral without closing off the round with a ss. It may help to use a stitch marker in the stitch of each round, moving it up as you work.
